Small Sun

You are a small sun
In my small solar system
Burning away, slowly,
The toxic clouds above my
Small sky

You built a small house
On a land where small minds
And smaller hearts

You said and say small things
Did and do small things
That I, in no small way,

I take small steps,
Take in, slowly, your warm rays.
The ice thaws; it will lose
if you continue to be
My small sun.

The End
