Let Them Know

If you do not know just what you want
You should not act as though you do
If you do not know how much to give
You should not give as though you do

If you do not know just what to say
You should not speak as though you do
If you do not know where loyalties lie
You should not pledge as though you do

If you do not want a future wed
You should not court as though you do
If you do not want to have an affair
You should not dress as though you do

If you do not want to break a heart
You should not leave as though you do
If you do not want to be with them
You should not kiss as though you do

If you act as though you know what you want; give as though you know how much to give; speak as though you know what to say; pledge as though you know your loyalties; court as though you want to be married; dress as though you want an affair; leave as though you want to break a heart; kiss as though you want someone forever, then your lover shall assume many things about you.

Don't let them assume.  Let them know.
