Rise Again

I've been shamed,

I've been blamed,

Left on the floor in a lifeless heap,

Yet I rise again.

I've been hurt,

Covered in dirt,

I have scars that run deep,

And still I rise again.

I've been excluded,

Considered deluded,

Been at the edge, ready to leap,

And yet I rise again.

So it's not over for me,

It's not the end of my story,

There's many chapters left to read,

So will you rise again,

With me?
