Ridin Iron Horses

a little something I penned that I hope might turn into lyrics for a song

RIDIN IRON HORSES

(c)Rick Manzone 9-14-14

When life gets so tough even your dog gets sad
And your best is not enough but enough is what you’ve had
When no one has you covered and no one cuts you slack
And the boss mans got your number like it’s painted on your back

It’s time for two wheels two lanes
One seat No rain
Ridin' iron horses
Like a cowboy in the night
Six gears V twin
Tank full All in
Leathers, jeans and shades
Just a headin' toward the light

When everyone’s gone crazy like crazy was free
And freedom comes at five but the clock says three
When you give it all you got and you take it on the chin
And the open road is callin' with your patience wearin' thin

It’s time for two wheels two lanes
One seat No rain
Ridin' iron horses
Like a cowboy in the night
Six gears V twin
Tank full All in
Leathers,jeans and shades
Just a headin' toward the light

Leave all the crap behind free your soul free your mind
Find your way out of the hell of the grind
Free is the path of the righteous and the true
Iron horses calling... calling out to you

It’s time for two wheels two lanes
One seat No rain
Ridin' iron horses
Like a cowboy in the night
Six gears V twin
Tank full All in
Leathers, jeans and shades
Just a headin' toward the light

The End
