Responsibility is a silent killer
does things strange to a man
it crushes him, it breaks him
even more than life ever can

That once he was proud to be obstinate
no longer could he afford to be brave
afraid to take any chances
and to go cautious into his grave

Though his shoulders have begun to droop
he appears to just bear the strain
some might equate that with pride
some might even think him vain

The End
