Relentless and Free

I find myself spending time with someone new and became present with how this is changing me, this poem can be understood as a love poem or as a transition from old to new.

With all of me

into your hands

i let go

relentless and free

I look at you

endless mountain paths

the earth

caught in your eyes

I take your hand

feeling the crashing waves

toes playing

in the sand

With all of me

into your hands

time seems to disappear

spontaneous fun killing all thoughts of fear

I listen to you banter

painting pictures

the life of a panther

luring me from tree to tree

I feel your touch

hands of hard work and care

embracing me

my inner core

With all of me

into your hands

life becomes a treasure map

calling me out upon its waters

I call your name

my feet failing to touch the ground

taking me deeper

than I could ever wander

My mind without boundaries

soul resting

heart racing

I smile at the thought of you

With all of me

into your hands

I let go

relentless and free

The End
