All these lives

Trying to make their mark

 Up and down varies for some

Reminiscent of a pendulum

Careful the sum may tread

As levers are pulled

The gears continue to turn

Even after our farewell

As prayers echo the air

Consciously wondering if were at all aware

So lifting our dead weight shoes

Climbing to another stair

The spiraling ascent

Will force some to lament

Solemn, obscure descend

Decadence was
