Red Noon

The only speed I got is my car

With this smack I won't go far

And I got an visit from the Jack

On the road to Silence, a jet black car glides forth

Amber glows the horizon, of suns setting shine

Where no sane is held, behind sunglasses so stiff

A scenery of pink ladies and flashing lights...

Crystals are covering his dead arm,

Where he sits at the wheel,

Unaware about the world outside

Sick is the flavour,

A teared up tired head

I'd like to die, I'd like to die, I'd like to die

I'd like to hide

From the rest of the crowd

On the road to Silence I ride

Gas is running low, and so is my joy

With this smack I won't go far,

But I guess that's not what I want either

A depressed cold heart gives nothing but

... A desert

I don't know what I seek, I don't know what's in my head

Merely an empty dead shell, Uncertain are the roads

... Which I travel on

The smiles on people's faces don't ever suite me,

Yes... So shallow are my thoughts

Amber so deep, is the glow on the horizon

I hope the harvest is good this year

The only speed I got is my car

With this smack I won't go far

And I got an visit from the Jack

Sick is the flavour,

A teared up tired head

I'd like to die, I'd like to die, I'd like to die

I'd like to hide

From the rest of the world

The End
