Recycled Life

Poem about life and death, how as one thing dies, a new one springs forth.

Often she wondered at the window,
Staring out into the thick night,
Watching silver plumes and
Opalescent  moonlight filter into the
Forest.
She watched as nature took its course;
Snow, sleet, rain, hail;
Leaves budding, vibrant greens withering
Away into dead browns tinged a
Moss green.
She learned of life and death
And the circle of everything.
She memorized cycles and time,
How as one thing died, it grew into
Another.
Anxiously she waited to join the cycle,
To experience all elements of life,
Including Death;
Te create new from old.
The End
