A life bound to the mint of money we make,
Is that all we live for today?
Knowledge confined to the realm of our books,
Is that all we're willing to take?

Boundaries everywhere, shackles on the feet,
So narrow our vision,
Know nothing beyond what classrooms teach.

No life beyond the office doors and walls,
Is this what living and learning mean at all?
Long forgotten have we, the true meaning of life,
Entangled in the vicious web of material desires.
Become have we so mechanical and sore,
Are we worthy of being "Humans" anymore?

The End
