Pray Pretencious Soul

Pray, pretencious soul

Why so glum?

Whereforth that smile smug

From a moment ago?

Pray pretencious soul

Why so quiet?

Has that pesky little cat caught

Such a witty tongue as yours?

Pray pretencious soul

Why so alone?

Where hath gone thy

Ecstatic enamoured entrouge?

Pray, pretencious soul

Are those tears?

But why of sadness...

When laughter their lord hath been?

Silence sarcastic speaker!

Stupid, know it all you be

Obvious it is, that tonight

Pretencious is not what I be.

The End
