Rain (A Call to Prayer)

It’s easy to get lost

in the rain.

It’s easy to forget yourself,

to forget that you are human.

It’s easier to dance.

Most people don’t like the rain much.

They huddle in dry places

and when it thunders

they shift nervously.

If anyone wishes to join me out here

come dancing.

There is no need for talking—

sing to me.

Dance with me.

Dance with the rain.

We will be beautiful together

in the rain.

The End
