Rain
I'll always remember this, I recall thinking,
As we danced in the rain.
Your wet hair, your soaked arms.
Raindrops sliding down your beautiful face.
In the middle of the road,
Dancing underneath the streetlights.
You held me as my tears mixed with the rain,
And your eyes sparkled like I'd never seen before that night.
That was the moment, I think,
When I realized exactly where I was meant to be,
Safe in your strong arms,
Dancing on a drenched street.
