i watch the light tangle up in the smokeMature

I watch the light tangle up in the smoke.
I watch them melt together, merge until they
are neither anymore.  I watch them corrupt the other,
until they dissipate like your breath in the cold morning air.
And I think of how smoothly they combine, how effortlessly
they destroy each other and I cannot help but draw
comparisons to you and I.

The End
