In the aftermath, I found enough salvage to build a small shelter.
The rains were loud and constant but I stayed mostly dry.
This is not to say I wasn’t bruised, or bleeding, or even broken.
These storms are growing stronger and I am barely getting by.
Do not mistake my ingenuity for endurance, they do not weigh the same.
