we wear each other like dress shirtsMature

We wear each other like dress shirts,
buttons done all the way up to the collar.
Like coffee stains on our khaki pants.
Like cigarette burns in our favorite tshirts.
We wear each other like we’re infinite
and invincible and then we’re left
holding the ashes and rags
of what we’ve done to each other.

The End
