Page 2Mature

  • My enemies became my friends,
  • Now to tie up loose ends.
  • Although you may not want to know,
  • You're my friend and not my foe.

  • The simplest sin,
  • Is stealing the win.
  • You got the girl,
  • Won her over with a pretty pearl.

  • Her eyes sparkled,
  • As my eyes watered.
  • I was left broken,
  • With many words unspoken.

  • I walk back to darkness,
  • You were my only weakness.
  • I'm lonely and afraid,
  • That's the price I paid.
