The Lemon Yellow Donkey - Veritas

“Can you learn

to tell

a bad deal

before you make it?”

He asked me.

‘People need to keep

a few things

inside until the deal

is done.

Or they at least feel

that way.

It all comes out

eventually;

once you are in there

it all comes out.

But, by then

they’ve chained the doors.

You’re no longer

turning it down

you’re tearing it up

It’s clever really.

Whether they realise it

or not.’

The End
