Love was a garment I wore

Until it faded or tore

But now...

I met a soul

Loved a soul, not just a vessel

So I am stripped down

Standing nude before him

My vulnerabilty uncaged

A dove in the wind

Free to fly

Find your way home, sweet bird

Perch yourself in my heart

It's not hard to find anymore

Not hidden in armour disguised as clothes

Some have shields, Some attack

Some have costumes,Some hide

But now oh now, Every part of me is exposed

So dove, perch yourself in my heart

Teach it to sing

Bring love's percussion to the surface

Let it float to his ears

Vulneriablity be a song,not a battle cry

The End
