Childhood Aspiration

I wish I could float like a cloud in the

Sky, changing my shape as I slink past so

High, watching the world as it moves slowly

By, a changable dew sack fluttering

My luminous sprinkles of wetness I

Cry.

I wish I could be a flourishing flow-

Er, feeling drips of the rain gives me pow-

Er, the warmth of the Orb I'd drink every

Hour, tickle of wings I oft allow

Her, giving the basis to this life of

Ours.

I wish I could become the ground in the

Earth, to feel how each movement quivers and

Jerks, to know how tectonic plates shift and

Work, where the abstract of evil is known to

Lurk. And to feel what its like for Earth to give

Birth.

The End
