watermark - After the Storm

On a cloud I saw a child,
a mind at peace with all below,
or does she sit in some green shade,
an aimless smile that hovers in the air,
which is no more than what is false and vain,
high above the city's tumult,
a reminder of storms that have been,
grown wistful of a former earth.
