Thinking free and wild notions,

Like rapids, torrents and raging oceans,

Calms and lulls throughout the whole,

Strengthening stormy nights of the soul.

Thrown about, tossed upon rampant seas,

Lost amid winds ripping through the trees.

The mind swirling helpless with violent intent,

The tsunami playing out, never to relent.

An earthquake vexing the peaceful life,

Volcanoes smothering the eternal light.

Cascades of rock and water descend,

The sole aim; imaginings quickly to end.

Contrasts of nature; beauty in disaster,

A shimmer of hope, clouds with silver linings,

Nature has no master.

The End
