How short can a poem be and still be a poem? Don't expect me to answer the question, but here are five short poems I wrote (to avoid confusion, the 'I' in these poems is fictional). Got any short poems to share?
Then Time Arrived
They lie when they say time flies.
Time drives a motorcycle
And won’t pull over
For a speeding ticket.
Imagine the last car commercial.
The cake that sealed their wedding vows
They ate on their honeymoon
And they didn’t realize it
Until I was grown up
Poured through globs of a paint-like substance;
The instant left.
They tend to do that.
This was a nice one.
