Celestial Heartbreak

Here she is, resplendent in her beauty
A soulmate warped by her cynicism
She puts her arms around me softly
As her heart races with lust

And I don't know if she is in love
A bitter confrontation once stole her
So I was left to pick up the pieces
Of our dying relationship

But she promises the heavens
To relinquish the Hell she once burdened
A seraph unblemished by temptation
To hold me as the world passes by

But she leaves once more
Yet I always pray
That this will be different
Next time

But it never is

This was literally just written. I prefer raw poetry. I hope you enjoyed reading this!
