Forgotten 1

Take out your toy chest,

Pull out G.I. Joes.

Small plastic soldiers,

Lined up in rows.

Shoot them all down,

With a little toy gun.

Watch the massacre,

Have a little fun.

Back in that box,

Lies an old worn-out doll.

Shoved to one side,

Pushed up one  wall.

Ignored for years,

Rejected by you.

Abandon the old,

Obsess with the new.

Some used plastic soldiers,

Will pile above.

One more grave,

To never be loved.

The chest's lid will close,

Dust shall collect.

On that little toy doll,

In that little toy chest.

The End
