THX0477- An Imaginary Sunset

I imagine the sun

Going down on you

I see the brilliant colors

They cause me no pain

I watch the lazily paced dip

The descent brings no sorrow

I imagine the sun

Going down you

Your eyes dance like fading light

Cavorting upon rippling waters

You speak to me of love and life

But only in my mind

I imagine the sun

Going down on you

Fantasy supercedes memory

Tragedy succumbs to beauty

I dream I'm not too late

That your fate is not beneath the waves

I imagine the sun

Going down on you

And so it does o'er and o'er

Sinking behind the distant horizon

Its fires soothed by the ocean

Whose cool embrace holds my love

The End
