Stolen kisses

The death that rots my beauty

     contains my soul

     lingering there

     no longer whole

Words like stolen kisses

      bestowed with poison

      upon the lips

      of suicides misses

Flowers wilting in the cold winter night

     shivering and unwanted

     consumed with madness

     pleasures delight

The moonlight invading the window sill

    of thieves and criminals

full of greed and no remorse

    and yet, free still

The life that once glowed

   within my pale cheeks

   has faded into null

   nothing owed

I wonder though, as my eyes imprison

the images of terror, that devour me

Where were you, when I had this vision?

The End
