Your name evades my mind

Headaches ensue after trying to recall your lips

Fights occur with the mirror to remember your taste; your smell

Was it sweet or bitter?

Arguments with my subconscious to recall the feeling of your arms, legs and chest

Were you strong or weak?

                                                   *          *          *

Your eyes were beautiful

Ocean blue and green with a hint of rain cloud grey

They shimmered when you were happy and they dropped all emotion when you seethed

When we played in the snow your eyes screamed happiness

You made my heart feel like it had sunshine in it

I cannot remember your name

But your eyes will forever be embedded in my memory

The End
