Anger

Recommend

Anger is a hateful thing,
It tastes like salt and iron.
The chagrin bubbles up inside you,
Like you are being set on fire.
It feels like fury, loss, hate
Why, you think, must this be your fate?
All kindness suddenly disappears,
Genorosity gone, no longer here.
You thrust your fist against the wall
You drop to the floor, tears begin to fall.
Why live in such a cruel world
With overpowering emotions like this?
Tears block your vision; a hazy mist.
