A Spell For A Newborn

Selfless Angel of pure joy,

Enchant to heal my baby boy;

Save him from the winds so cold,

And the threat of growing old;

Save him from the teeth that bear,

And take from him all things of fear.

Give him power to cast a spell,

On each and every faire-hand gell;

Send spark into his every word,

Protection from the witches’ curse.

And a voice like no other to

Sing away the darkest blues.

If hope that on the hardest night,

He could shield from death and fright;

That as a mother I would be

Granted peace for eternity.

The End
