Mr. Sea Monster

Won’t you come a little closer,

Mr. Sea Monster?

Come and tickle off my toes,

Look, we can scare the neighbours,

And gobble up their clothes.

We’ll paint my face red and black

With the fires from your heart,

We’ll build up a new empire today,

Or at least make half a start.

Should we lounge around on deckchairs,

Watching the world waddle by?

Or should we catch a few of them,

Those people as they fly?

At least come and stay a while;

Come and play with little me,

Mama says you’re in my mind,

But I’m ever so lonely.

The End
