One day I decided,
To do a thing I’ve never tried yet,
To write a poem-
To compose some words
And place them straight into verse.
To form something that’s plausible
And humorous and comical.
So beyond these walls
Of written stone.
Lies a special,
Magic tomb.
Where all my thoughts and feelings be,
On show for all you lot to see!

Author guidance for This poem
Poems written by yours truly, a mixed variety of random things that have suddenly come to my mind...Some are spur-of-the-moment, others carefully planned. There are some doubles, or different ideas based on one concept, some poems from 'yester-year', and the occasional song lyrics.
Please critique, comment, rate and tell me if I need to improve; this is my first attempt at proper poetry, so I need all the help I can get. Most importantly, ENJOY ;)
