The Taste Of RegretMature

The taste of regret;

It overwhelms my tongue.

No longer can I taste others:

Bitter

Sweet

Salty

Sour.

Nothing can get through the film of wishing it never was.

I try scrubbing it away,

But it always comes back.

I just want it gone for good,

But that would mean removing the best part of living.

The End
