The In-between Times are In-between

In between each second breath

When all my thoughts drift back to stone

The rosy heights of your warm hand

Are pulled away, a broken moon.

But then I see one day we will

Tip-toe the surface of the sun

So I keep my sorrow as a friend, and

Not a lover, constant but true

To counter-act my happy breaths

That happen in between.

The End
