Lush, False

I knew a girl once

Who grew into a woman.

As I flondered with chipped nail polish and plastic rings, she showed me life

With the best of intentions she took my runners and strapped on stellettos

At a dizzying height I fell into something they called self improvement

I grew up lush and i grew up false

Adorned in fake lashes

But no ones looking at my eyes

The End
