Please Open The Windowmature

Please open the window
I want to hear the rain
It hits our walls, and makes us all
Almost clean again

Please open the window
I want to see the sun
And with that glow, I'm sure I know
I'm not the only one

Please open the window
I want to feel the storm
And while it rolls, through the cold
You can keep me warm

Please open the window
I want to watch the night
I love how at peace, beneath my sheets
You look in pale moonlight

Please open the window
I want to breathe the air
And as we change, lives rearranged
There's always plenty to spare

Please open the window
I need to let the outside in
You say I'm scared, too unprepared
This is one way to begin
