Pity Love

To "Pity" love, something that wives will do , and the poor husbands who are subjected to

There are those days
and there are quite a few
the spouse doles out pity love
to quell the husbands blues

I will go through the motions she says
the love-struck man will never know
Its so easy to fool the sulking beast
with sounds, expressions, just enjoy the show

Yes, I know that she's fooling me
But no way this has impaired
Sure, this is love born out of pity
But then I don't really care!

It's the closeness that I enjoy
But sadly she just doesn't get
For her love is an elaborate ritual
But for me it’s just an outlet!

The End
