Perfectly Imperfect

you are who you are and there's a lot to love about you

You may not see

What only you can be

You may not love

What only you’re made of

You may even hate

The work that you create

But it’s time for you to ignite

Your internal light

Time for you to shine

For you are divine

Cross the dividing line

Make others whine

In jealousy and hate

Let me set you straight

It means nothing

It may sting

But recognise who you are;

From perfection you are far

But aren’t we all

Fat, thin, short, or tall

We are people only

We get glad, we get lonely

But we are human beings

Imperfection is life it seems

The End
