Bitter-sweet Remorse

The corner of darkness,

bitter-sweet abyss.

This time I'm lonely,

it's you that I miss.

I had learned to be alone,

at least then I didn't have to remember the things that we did.

But, I still don't regret it;

the smell of your skin.

I don't regret the love I lost,

the emptiness I'm swallowed in.

I may look back with sorrowed eyes;

this time is harder,  but I can't lie.

I loved every minute,

every kiss.

I'll treasure every moment

and sleep in bitterness.

The End
