Our Forever

Don't look at the big picture - look at all the small brushstrokes which helped make the big picture. Inspired by "If I'm James Dean, You're Audrey Hepburn" by Sleeping With Sirens.

I can't say the pen won't dry up
But it can't fade from my mind
I'm not sure that the leaves won't fall
But it's more than dying leaves you'll find

Maybe the words will be forgotten
But they won't be taken away
I can't tell if the deaf man will hear
But there are more things he can say

I don't know if our farewell is a never
But as long as we have our forever
We have as much as we need

Our bird may not live for ages
But it will see a lifetime
I can't tell if the pictures will last
But they will last for some time

Death may be inevitable
But it's hope we all live on
Not all music will be remembered
But we will always have our song

Maybe our bond will sometime sever
But as long as we have our forever
We have as much as we need

Who knows if the clock will stop ticking?
Who knows if the colors will fade?
All I know is that if we're afraid of everything
We won't have time to be more than afraid

I can't promise we will survive whatsoever
But as long as we have our forever
We have as much as we need

I don't know if we can survive the never
But as long as we have our forever
It's okay with me

The End
