Ones and Zeroes: In Memoriam

I

Will live

For eighty years

If I am lucky.

And

Thirty nine

If I'm not.

A

Stone will

Keep my memory

For hundreds of years

Before time fades my name

Away from the world's curious glance.

Now

I wonder

How many years

These 1's and 0's

Left behind in my wake

Will continue on after I've gone

As a reminder of who I was?
