So they said I was different
And I said they were wrong
I told them that 'normal'
Would never work in a world of diversity.

And they said that my poems
Did not fit to a rhythm
So I told them that I wrote
How I wanted to and they couldn't stop me.

Then they said I would fail
In becoming a writer
And I told them to watch
As I made it far, and they didn't get there.

But I still wondered
If my last lines were slightly too long for the poem.

The End
