Boats

Boats shimmering
Softer softer
As they pass by
In silver clouds
Of light that is
Softer softer
And fading away.

Filled with lovers
Further further
Through a veil
That hides
In a land that is
Further further
Away from life.

Carrying children
Faster faster
Away from parents
Sisters
Brothers, now
Faster faster
Taking them away.

Sweeping families
Smoother smoother
Until they fade
Completely
From memories,
Smoother smoother
Until gone.

Boats pass by
Softer softer
In their shimmering
Silver light.
Which fades growing
Softer softer
Until it is gone.

The boats have passed.

The End
