Although I stay behind, watching from the gate,
I'm calling after you, "Don't go!" inside my heart.
But I won't run, I won't demean myself.
I must be strong. I do not care, this means nothing.

Yes, you have left, but I can survive.
I can call after you, "Don't go!" but go you will.
I could not bring you back, and I will not try.
I have to keep strong, because this is nothing.

Another day in a life that I knew could not last.
I want to shout and call after you, "Don't go!"
Yet my cry would not urge you to return.
And so I will be strong, I will not cry, I will go on.

The End
