Sailing

Ropes flapping in the wind,
cracking against the side.
Heave, pull, reel them in.
Tie the knot.
Sails turning,
boom swinging dangerously low.
Heave, pull, reel them in.
Change direction.

Jib switching,
boom swinging,
mainsail flapping.
Ropes sliding,
knots slipping,
fingers fumbling.
Heave, pull, reel them in.
All hands on deck.

The End
