Halfway up the biggest hill,
The tyre gives a 'hiss'.
And with a sinking heart you know:
That is the end of this.

Halfway home from far away
The tyre's going flat.
And with a sense of dread you see
That, now, is that.

Far from friends and family
Your bike is 'indisposed'.
And with despair you can tell
A new problem here is posed.

The End
