My Soul Bleeds Songs

I want to bind the two.
Play until your fingers    B
                                                                L

                                                                                E
                                                                                                E
                                                                                                                D
So you can S
                 H    A
             C            K
                L     E
My soul by the words I don’t yet hear,
But will breathe to life somehow,
With my gaping loss of ability
But S     R       M     L     N
           C      A       B     I       G,
                                                  DESPERATE,
     effort.
The fingers are moving,
     < But it’s not enough. >
Never enough, because I can’t marry the two so seamlessly.
< So meager is my power. >
Carry me away,
Strum my soul by the C
                                       H
                                       O
                                        R
                                        D
                                        S
And arch the tension,
Playing with careful love the ivory keys of my nerves,
So the notes become dove-touches upon my spine,
Until I, swept to far away fields by the strings,
Can only try and make firm
These feelings that churn,
Tumultuous and thick,
           D
     N         I
  E                  N
B                         G   my back,
Completing my soul,
Finally in to
                        words.
         < Now, I can rest. >

The End
