Ode to a Ghoul

A short poem pertaining to a ghoul and a not so lucky caretaker!

Hunger rasping at my insides
Dirty fingers digging for the prize
Man with shovel and lantern bright
Is going to join the dead tonight
I creeps behind the pitted stones
My menu filled with skin and bones
I sets my eyes upon his back
Me thinks I creep for sneak attack
And after screams and pleas of stopping
I quickly set my mouth to chomping
With tummy full of lantern man
Me sleeps and waits to dig again

The End
