Crack Like Glass

Too much heat,

Much too fast,

Crack like glass.

Black eyes loom,

In the black night sky.

When you live to survive,

You're never alive.

Tear the skies to shreds,

Wisps of clouds fall,

Breaking the city,

Burning our lives.

An end so sweet!

Erase me.

Leave nothing there,

But a fleck of rubber,

And an eraser, shrinking as it hides,

Our black night eyes.

Leave nothing.

Time goes on,

Until time stops.

Memoirs of our lives,

Spiral out of control.

Too much heat, and we all fall.

Too much heat,

Must too fast.

Crack like glass.

The End
