Underneath this rain cloud,

No one's here but me.

I'm just trying to survive,

Get by, Be fine, Be free.

Raindrops fall onto my head.

Dismay hides every drop.

I can't escape this dungeon,

So I'll wipe the water off.

I haven't seen the Sun.

Too far away to see.

Cloaked by too-thick rainclouds,

And countless too-big trees.

The warm and friendly light,

Is never in this place.

Flashing lightning, burning leaves,

They're something I can't face.

Someday these clouds will clear up,

And my sentence will be done.

But I can't help but to think,

Where they'll go when I am gone.

The End
